The 4D feature on your truck refers to its fourth gear function. You can easily find it on the gear shift, manual or automatic. This is the highest gear setting your truck has and enables overdrive. This is different from 4WD, which refers to the four-wheel drive setting. 4D is also seldom used to indicate that a car has four doors; you may see this when shopping for cars.
