How do You Remove Rain-X Windshield Wipers?
Some cars, like the Dodge Ram, have what is known as rain-x windshield wipers. They are designed to hug your windshield more to increase wiping strength. They come in four different styles –bayonet, pinch tab, J hook, and slide pin.
Despite the different types of rain-x windshield wipers, they are all taken off and removed the same way:
- Face the wiper arm upright.
- Move the wipe blade perpendicular to the arm.
- Press the tab that connects the blades to the arms.
- The wipers should be disengaged and slide off.
