Game of Thrones Events in Chicago

Winter is finally here and Chicago is ready! It’s been more than a year since the last episode of HBO’s hit series aired and for fans, its been too long of a wait. Game of Thrones returns to HBO this Sunday at 8 p.m. central time. 

The eighth and final season will have six episodes, ranging from 54 to 82 minutes and luckily, fans of the series have several places to choose from to watch the premiere.

Replay Lincoln Park

Replay is a popular destination for fans of the series. Replay boasts elaborate replica sets and even a replica of the Iron Throne.

Entry to the bar is always free, but fans may buy a $20 VIP ticket. A VIP pass will let you skip to the front of the bar, a picture and a free pint of mead or beer in a souvenir goblet.

Price: the event is free but spots must be reserved through Event Brite.

Game of Thrones Wild Boar Feast

Frontier

April 14 2019 | 5-7 p.m.

Join Frontier from 5 to 7p.m on Sunday for a Game of Thrones watch party! Frontier will have a wild boar feast, Game of Thrones tarot card reading, a costume contest and Game of Throne themed beer and cocktails.  

Price: tickets are $30 a person plus an additional $3 for gratuity.

Want a place to watch your favorite show and give back to the community? Head to Deep Häus Chicago where it’s coach house will be transformed into the Seven Kingdoms and a portion of the proceeds from the viewing parties will go to charity.

Price: the viewing parties are free but fans must register through Event Brite.

If your guests get a little carried away and try reenacting scenes, the personal liability’s portion of your renters or homeowners insurance will cover injuries during your watch party.
